Info: All the texture packages available for Unreal Tournament.

General notes

In this part of the site you can download any texture package you want. Upfront you choose what the package is for, is it for mapping, a server, or only for playing? Below you will find an overview for all the types of textures.

After the jump to the next mainpage everything is split into more groups, like:

- Master Files (All the textures in convenient large downloads).
- Stock UT textures (Basically all the textures that came with the game UT).
- Vanilla UT Textures ( S3TC textures that look more like the original UT).
- The URP project textures(Newly made texture packages with full S3TC support).
- User made Textures (Texures made by mappers and users, in other words homemade textures).
- Author textures (Textures sorted on widelly known authors).

Normal Textures

These are the normal textures that were released together with Unreal Tournament.

Use: Playing, Mapping, Editing, Servers
CPU: Any CPU
Renderer: Any Renderer
Videocard: Any videocard
Limitations: There are no limitations for these packages

S3TC Low End

Dont let the name fool you, the Low End S3TC Textures are all from superior quality and only on a few points smaller than the High End versions.

Use: Playing only ! (clients)
CPU: Pentium 2 or higher
Renderer: D3D8 with S3TC support
D3D9 with S3TC support
OpenGL with S3TC support
Videocard: 32Mb
64 Mb
128 Mb
Or higher
Limitations: Do Never use for Mapping, Editing and Servers !

S3TC High End

Almost the highest resolution textures possible for Unreal Tournament.

Use: Playing only ! (clients)
CPU: Pentium 4
Renderer: D3D8 with S3TC support
D3D9 with S3TC support
OpenGL with S3TC support
Videocard: 128 Mb (Try High End first, if it lags(stuttering framerates) switch to Low End))
256 Mb
384 Mb
512 Mb
Or higher
Limitations: Do Never use for Mapping, Editing and Servers !

S3TC Extreme End

You cannot get higher than this, the textures inhere are in the highest possible size that is supported by Unreal Tournament. But in order to use these textures you need a powerfull computer system! So you need at least a 512 Mb or larger videocard for this to run.

Use: Playing only ! (clients)
CPU: Pentium 4 and higher
Renderer: D3D8 with S3TC support
D3D9 with S3TC support
OpenGL with S3TC support
Videocard: 512 Mb
1024 Mb

2048 Mb
4096 Mb

256 Mb SLI

512 Mb SLI
2048 Mb SLI
4096 Mb SLI

Or higher
Limitations: Do Never use for Mapping, Editing and Servers !

S3TC Epic

These are the S3TC Textures from the second UT CD, all textures were made by Epic. You can download them, but you are better of with the textures released by the UTRP Project, as they lack the updates, and still contain Masking errors and a few misaligned textures.

Use: Playing only ! (clients)
CPU: Any CPU
Renderer: D3D8 with S3TC support
D3D9 with S3TC support
OpenGL with S3TC support
Videocard: Any videocard
Limitations: Do Never use for Mapping, Editing and Servers !
